OUR EDUCATION PROGRAMMES

Whilst the building work has meant our education programmes have had to be placed on hold since 2020, the aim is to reinstate them once the Gatehouse and Learning Centre becomes operational in 2024.  As a flavour of what we have provided in the past please take a look at each of the  programmes below.  Our aim is to offer opportunities for education along similar lines to those we have provided  previously.  An exciting new addition is that the Guernsey College of Further Education has based much of the apprenticeship practical work at the garden and this partnership is set to increase in 2024.  More details will be announced on this site in due course

For a number of years we have had a three phased education programme, offering opportunities that will support either academic, extra-curricular or more vocational learning. These programmes are designed to encourage all areas of the community to visit and utilise the gardens in order to learn valuable life skills and, from the charity’s perspective, to encourage those individuals who find they enjoy the experience the gardens provide, to become members and volunteers who will take an even greater role in the gardens and associated projects.
