What's Coming Up In The Garden?

The members & volunteers of the Victorian Walled Kitchen Garden welcome you back for the 2026 season.  The garden and La Choppe reopened to the public on Saturday 28th March 2026.  We aim to open both the garden and shop from 10 am - 4 pm weekdays and 10am - 1 pm Saturdays, subject to the availability of volunteers.

Our first public event of 2026 is SPRING BACK TO LIFE, which is your chance to get a head start on the growing season by picking up plants that.., we have prepared earlier!  There will be a range of seedlings available, including vegetable and bedding plants, all ready to be planted in your own glasshouses or gardens.

La Choppe will also be open selling gifts and crafts, all made by local Guernsey crafters.

And as well as all this there will be the obligatory cakes and refreshments, which you can enjoy on the terrace, or whilst sauntering through the garden and glasshouses.
